Our stay at Villa Natural Wood

We had a great stay at Villa Natural Wood. The hotel is modern, clean and the host helpful. It is, however, quite some distance away from the center of the village which is worth noting.

That was perfect choice for stay in road to Albania. Even stay here for more day will be perfect. Condition of room was great with nice mountains view. Breakfast is not served in that place but in restaurant located 1-2 km longer.

Hospitality - zero points.

A real disappointment. It's fair to say that the rooms are nice enough, albeit a small bed and duvet that barely fits (so much so, we had to sleep clothed) - but other than a well furnished living room area, that's where the positives stop. First of all - a nightmare to find - driving round country lanes and no attempt to sign it all. Secondly - nobody around when we checked in, despite calling and ringing the bell. Finally, when someone arrived, we were shown in to a room different to what we had booked. When I mentioned that we'd booked with a terrace, the lady said 'not my fault, manager's fault. You'll have to have this one.' I contested it and she said I'd have to call the manager myself - not something I'm doing from an international number, to fix a problem the hotel created. We went out for dinner and when we came back, they'd fixed us a new room - which was not cleaned. (Dead bugs in the bedroom and living area). There was no attempt to explain the hotel, the local area or anything at all - and nobody to see us out when we left. There is no room service, no food, no bar and nothing at all as described. Zero hospitality - which was not something we experienced anywhere else in Serbia!

Huge cost of additional nights

Because of difficult period of covid19 we were forced to prolong our stay for 2 days more. The property owner knowing our difficult situation (we were waiting for possibility to move to another place) doubled a price of our stay for 2 additional days. He knew that we had no other option than stay longer. Additionaly I can write that the Villa is nice place but in very remote area. Long distance to shop, restaurants and the town. It isn't the most comfortable but still in atisfactory condition.

Place and location is really great. Quiet and peaceful, everything in location is new. Great parking for car. On one day there wasnt power in whole area, but that wasnt issue here since they have regenerator. Everything was fully operatible after 5min. First day host showed me locations and restaurants around with great local food and discount. All recommendations for this property. Definitely will be coming again.
