Really enjoyed the old school feel to the rooms. Great hotel in a nice area
Have stayed here on previous trips to Zaragoza - always a great place to stay. Convenient to everything with coffee shops and restaurants around the corner. Very well situated in central Zaragoza.
Great location, very nice lobby and friendly staff. Hotel room was a bit dated and needs an upgrade, but then it was reflected in the price. All and all not a bad deal.
Excellent location. Lovely marble bathrooms. Flawless .. apart from a bit noisy on last night.
Would recommend highly

Dinners - Hotel Palafox and Virgin of the Pillar
When in Zaragoza, dinner at the Palafox is a must have. It is alone reason to travel to Zaragoza. The breakfast buffet was extraordinary as well.
Well situated to see Old Town Zaragoza as well where a most important cathedral-basilica has a home. It’s called Virgin of the Pillar

Convenient location and close to tourist spots. Big hotel but is a bit old and need renovation especially the dirty carpet.
Lovely stay in a grand hotel. The entrance was beautiful, comfy beds and breakfast buffet great!
Only downside was rooftop pool wasnt open on such a lovely sunny weekend!
Wonderful surprise for a last minute one night stay. Cool older hotel with very nice upgrades. One of the best rain showers ever! Super friendly staff. Terrific value for the money.
While the hotel shouts out its historic five star rating, which is to say the least just a bit ambitious, it is nevertheless a value-for-money “go to” option for visiting Zaragoza. Well located for walking to the old city and host of lively tapas bars nearby, the standard room was spacious, with minibar, a sitting area for two and large bathroom. It did not have any tea or coffee making facilities in the room, but the breakfast was generous. We also dined in the hotel one night and rated the food highly. We would stay at this hotel again.

This is an OLD hotel with too much of everything in the room. I would clean the room out of wood, curtains and all the ugly stuff around the room. Food is great and service is good. But hotel needs renovation.
The hotel is over all very nice and clean. A bit older already in some parts and would give a 4 star rating. Well located near the city center and old town. Impossible to find parking outside, so be ready to pay the garage 20€/day if you have a car. The breakfast was the best part and is really tasty, well balanced and high quality. The staff were friendly but nothing special, would have expected a bit more, that little extra note. We stayed two nights and the key cards stopped working after one day, so some mistake in the check in. No apologies given when waiting in the reception to get the cards activated.

The bathroom I had was outdated. Staff is very friendly and the mind set reaches a high level. In a 5 star hotel the roomservice should be available at least during daytime and not only during lunch and dinner.

Distinctly average - not 5 star
Whilst the staff are great and the foyer is beautiful, everywhere else, particularly the rooms, are extremely dated and in desperate need of modernisation. The luxurious sun beds in the photos are not the same either - in fact the pool terrace isn’t great either - again, needs updating - just 2 umbrellas. The breakfast was distinctly average and certainly not 5 star - you spend every day looking for staff to request that more butter or bread be put out of for the milk/water in the coffee machine to be filled up. Again - not 5 star!
