For the price I expected something considerably better. The check-in manager was great and housekeeping has done their best with what they have, but the facility is older and run down. I’m glad they accept pets, but when I arrived, a young man was hanging around out front shirtless with his dog and motorcycles were coming and going. There’s an upper level that faces the back of the building with an open walkway like a deck. Lord knows what goes on up there after hours. I didn’t feel safe and won’t return.

The check-in lady was great, walked with me to the room to make sure the room was acceptable. Some dude hanging out outside down the hall, drug dealer? I dunno. Non-smoking room, bathroom stunk. Room was clean.

I have a service dog with me at all times. I informed the front desk. I was charged a $20 cash pet fee. I’ve never been charged for my service dog, but it was only $20. Other than that, quiet , friendly, fridge, microwave, and very nice stafff.

Good service- terrible room

Based on service alone- this place was great. Arrived VERY late (1am) and the person who checked me in was very nice and accommodating. They even gave me the double bed I needed. The person who checked me out in the morning was also very nice- so… A+ for service. The room, however, was awful. The bedding was dirty- blood stains and dirt stains, and instead of totally changing the bedding over from the last guest they just put more on top of it so there was 3 fitted sheets in the bed. The bathroom had dirty washcloths left in it, and the fan vent was taped with scotch tape and stopped working completely. Thankfully they did provide clean towels, and toiletries, but I slept on top of the sheets since they were so gross. Since we checked in so late it wasn’t worth trying to get a new room… we left at 10am the next morning.

Improvements are imperative ASAP

I knew it was gonna be a cheap motel type place and thought it can’t be that bad cuz the pictures online make it def look better than it is. Maybe other rooms besides the one we got are better but my personal opinion is that place needs completely cleared out and deep cleaned. Several repairs in our room were imperative including the plumbing fixtures. I feel that all linens need thrown out and replaced including sheets, mattress covers, comforter, curtains and def the shower curtain. It was very dusty and hard to breathe plus the musty smell of the “clean” sheets and towels lingered on our clothes and other belongings. The man was very friendly and has exceptional customer service that I think he would excel running an embassy suites. You can tell he’s a proud owner and maybe he’s holding on to that business due to a personal attachment but if I were him, I would sell that property and get the hell out of there! Unless he can provide funds or get a loan for a complete gutted deep clean and replace everything including the washer that supposedly laundered the linens. The air quality needs improved as a number one priority as there was def mold on the ceiling and I’m sure the furnace filters need replaced. Also, a professional housekeeper should be hired to replace the current who only cleaned the surfaces and left garbage and food crumbs under every piece of furniture. I wish that man well and hope he decides to sell that dump and start fresh somewhere cuz he deserves better!

The staff (front desk) was very friendly, cheerful, and helpful. The room I got was very large, clean, and comfortable. It was obviously renovated. The area is quiet and walkable. The price was great, making this a great value. I recommend this place without a doubt.
