The hotel is wonderful but we thought it would be in a quieter area. Being there in September we expected less people on the beach too. Not the hotels fault or course. Hotel was awesome and the staff very nice.

Elevator only went to 2nd floor. We had to carry luggage to go up to 3rd floor!!! Also too many steps to get onto beach!! Breakfast was good, but other meals average. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Just returned from spending a wonderful eight days at Crystal Beach Hotel. All the are extremely friendly, polite and helpful. The room I booked was a sea view room and the views are truly wonderful. The room is decent enough for a standard room with good size bed, shower room, Tv, balcony, dressing table and kettle to make a hot drink. The downside is there isn’t enough privacy when sitting out on the balcony, you can be seen by diners from the beach cafe and pool area. Another downside is not enough wardrobe space with the safe situated on the shelf of the wardrobe and the hanging rail positioned in a way which is too high and hard to reach. Dresses when hung up on the rail don’t hang correctly and end up being creased as the hanging space hasn’t been designed at the correct height. Not enough hooks in the bathroom to hang up personal belongings and towels to dry. My room only had one towel rail which doesn’t give enough space to hang up two large towels. I hope these comments will be looked at as positive criticism. Despite these few negatives I would most definitely return to the Crystal Beach Hotel if I were to stay in Kalamaki. The hotel is situated on the beach with plenty sun beds and umberellas and a lovely beach restaurant. Thank you to all the wonderful kind staff for looking myself and my husband who made our stay so enjoyable.

Look for a better hotel and drive to the beach
I give my driver’s license to the receptionist to make it easier for her to get my name and find our reservation while my wife looked for the passports. In a very ugly way she threw it back saying I need the passports. I do not accept mistreatment and I let her know. We then got a room that was not what we had pay for. My wife complained we got the right room, the smell of sewer coming out of the shower was horrendous, the hot water was and then was not. The best thing this hotel has is the beach the hotel is not even a 3 ⭐️ very bad smell had to close the bathroom door an vent the room to sleep.

Really friendly hotel in a wonderful location
The best thing about the Crystal Beach is its incredible location - the only hotel in Kalamaki that's right on the lovely beach, with pool and bar overlooking it. The rooms were clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet and the staff were all incredibly lovely and helpful

Overall it was fine, but our Suite was far from the Hotel complex and the roim was very small and basic. Which was misleading when booking for this Hotel. I would not book a Suite again at this Hotel.

Better in the photos
The hotel looks better in the photos, the pool area is quite old, sun loungers rather tired, no beach towels. Covid measures have certainly made the stay much less pleasant with long wait for breakfast (though pleasant staff). The twin room was tiny, we could barely open our suitcases. The shower was leaking, lots of water on the floor. Mosquitoes in the area.
