Clean comfortable room. Great amenities. Very relaxing, calming eco friendly area. Would happily return. Staff friendly and helpfull. Close to everything including the lake.
The room was beautifully done up and clean. The amenities including the kitchen in the lodge was sufficient to cater the large crowd. Staff was friendly and helpful. The lakes at the national park were amazing. We enjoyed the walk around the lakes although we did not sight many birds.
Great location and friendly staff. Even an open fire at night. Loved the outside/inside bathroom.
Cotton sheets and and a non squeeky bed would have made it perfect
Very friendly staff, clean room and toilet/shower. Wel enquipped kitchen. Parking on dirt road across the street.
Rooms are noisy and there were tours arriving on the days I was there, they were very loud in the early morning at 6:30.
After multiple stays, it gets better each time. It's a very welcoming and home-like atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the rooms are nice and the location is really convenient.
The amenities are great too and it very nice to meet fellow travellers.
We loved this place. It was superclean and a great kitchen with everything you could need for a good meal. Big fridges and cupboards to keep your goods safe and cold. Lots of games, big washing machines, good vibes, great staff.
I enjoyed my three nights at On the Wallaby because of the nice peeps and the quiet area it was in. It was clise to where I had to be. Bed was comfortable.

Liked: Amenities
This was a lovely place to stay. I stayed in one of the private “go rooms”, which was like a private room made from a trailer on wheels. It was surprisingly cozy! I liked how there were sufficient share facilities and a large kitchen/dining area. The place was centrally located in town, making it easy to walk down to the park to go look for platypus. I’d recommend it.
Room was great, walking distance to the lovely Yungaburra village, Peterson Creek walking track and platypus viewing platform. Also a lovely outdoor area with hammocks and eating area
