"If you are thinking this will be a good value hotel you are wrong. My room had an overpowering smell of a scented deodorizer, I lleft right away and booked at the Ravens Inn which was perfect. Don’t waste your money."
"This was a pet friendly hotel, my daughter and her family, and my husband were moving them from Fairbanks, AK to Battletown, KY. They had 3 dogs, a cat, and a kid.
The rooms were large, and well kept. Close to restaurants, the Yukon River walk, and amenities.
The staff helped us out when leaving. They were 45 minutes away, and realized neither had put their cat in the car. She called panick stricken, I contacted the front desk, the attendant immediately checked the room. He was under the bed. She secured the room, advised housekeeping to remain out until they returned. This is one of my daughter's babies, she was thrilled.
Great job and THANK YOU IMMENSELY from the Peck/Karness families."
"Booked a hotel room, check-in at dining room table and told to remove shoes while others waited inline outside to check-in, told I was getting an upgrade at another location which was basically a hostel. Will never stay here again."
"Our room was very nice, clean comfortable bed. Check in was good.
I would like to make a suggestions, it would be nice to get a coffee in the morning as you only have espresso in the room not everyone likes espresso. We have stayed a few times now and left before you put coffee out at 6:30 as we had to leave to catch our flight."
"Traveling from Pennsylvania to Alaska we stayed in many hotels along the way. Our stay at Edgewater was wonderful! Every member of the staff I talked to were so exceptionally nice."
