The large, high-ceilinged rooms were nice, as were the common spaces, onsen baths, and free bicycle rentals (though we didn't use them because it was cold). The staff was very helpful, especially when pointing out places to eat in town. The location is a bit off the beaten path, but we found the location charming and not difficult to reach, given that the town is fairly small and mostly flat.

The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and cosy. Provide additional services and facilities which my children love very much. Such as bicycles, music guitar, drink machines, snookers tables, etc. We enjoy the family onsen too.

Great experience
Great experience. The staff is nice and helpful. The room is clean. Location is quite good, though it is a bit difficult to locate as we drove there at night. It’s dark outside. The room is comfortable although it is not spacious as I thought. The bathroom is small. And the bathtub is too tall for my grandmother to use. In general, we had a great stay and recommend this guesthouse for others!

Nice home stay fro family of four
When love the place very much! Especially the private onsen, for those who are shy to share onsen with other people. Just take note the location can’t be located in waze, you have to use google map to find the location.

Memorable unique stay.
This onsen ryokan has so much personality like none I have stayed before. My family got to play pool and ride bikes to explore the surroundings. One can even rent their bbq pit and enjoy a bbq session at their balcony. The private onsen rooms are perfect for family too. Staff speaks English and are friendly and helpful. Area is quite dark at night though so if one does not drive, may not be that convenient to venture out.

A charm of a little hotel.
Great hotel located in a quiet neighborhood; small, but with good size rooms. Lounge—with cheap beer and jazz music playing—and kitchen area off the lobby. Springs were nice and clean. They served us a good breakfast. Staff was extremely friendly. The hotel is full of toy collections /displays, and yes, there is a Godzilla.

A bit far from the station but nice cozy place
I didn’t realize how far it would be to walk 15 min in cold rainy windy day.. even without any luggage. I regret not taking taxi to the lodge from the station, because it is a bit far too walk. But apart from this, everything else about this place is wonderful. The outdoor rotenburo was really nice, but water scorching hot. Love the many collections of figurines that filled the hall ways, and I am curious about the story behind how the owner got to collect so much. It’s almost like a little museum of figurine collection. Very close to Kirinko. A bit far from everything, so be sure to eat dinner before checking in for the night.

I loved that the room was comfy and clean. they also provided free welcome drinks and cup noodles for those hungry. They also had free bikes for use to go around the village

clean hotel with friendly staff
the hotel was far from the bus station and you would need to take a taxi if you have luggage. the place was spacious and the service was great. It is near the Kinrinko lake. they have bikes available to use for free of you want to go around town

Overally I was satisfied with staying this hotel but they have only one good hot spring. Except for hot spring, everyting about this hotel is awesome.

Amazing stay with reasonable price and great onsen
My boyfriend and I reallyed loved this place. It was a little far from Yufuin downtown and kind of middle of rice field. Really quite and peaceful. Free onsen was great especially outdoor one. We stayed 2 nights and visit there everyday! Also the room was much spacious compare to any other Japanese hotels.

Very nice hospitality from the staff, who were always smiling and friendly. I thought the little welcome note written on a cartoon slip and in a handwriting font placed on the room table was very cute and warming. When we checked out, the staff also gave us little parting gifts, which was an unexpected nice touch! The room is simple though its clean and is sufficient. The decor of the hallway and also the common area on the other hand was intricately furnished, which shows the amount of work and heart put into it. My only negative point is the water heater, which wld stop providing hot water after a while to heat up more water. This became uncomfortable halfway during a shower as it was winter time. Besides this, generally it has been a very pleasant stay and recommended for others.

위치가 다소 애매하나 가성비 좋음. 식사는 제공되지 않으나 조리도구 및 시설이 잘 갖춰져 있어 끼니 해결에 문제 없음.

ランプの宿の印象です
コロナのため、ランプの宿に急遽変更になりました。少ない従業員でやりくり苦労されてるのがわかりましたが、ホテル自体はとても快適でした。ペットの猫が浴室から部屋まで着いてきて夜寝てました。可愛かったです。

和のテイストで、快適に過ごせるホテル
静かな場所にあり、レンタル自転車を借りれるので、お店が連なる場所までは、5分程度で行くことができます。利用した部屋は、ベットの部屋と、広い和室の部屋があり、快適に過ごすことができました。お風呂は、そんなに広くありませんが、他のホテルのお風呂を紹介してくれ、今は貸切で利用することができました。綺麗なキッチンが付いているので、食事も作ることができます。スタッフの人も優しく親切でした。
