"Stayed here for a night. Orlando, the owner, welcomed us and showed us the room. He was very nice and hospitable. The room was clean, I liked the interior design of the suite we got. We met two kittens who were friendly. If you like cats, they will gladly enter your room. If you don’t, you might want to consider. They are very sneaky going inside, but they are cute. On the way up there after entering the gate, the roads were pretty rough. We had a car rental so we drove slowly down the...

"My family talked about our wonderful stay here the entire trip. The grounds are incredible! I loved sitting in the rocking chair listening to the man-made waterfall, discovering the rock path with jaw dropping beauty at every turn and enjoying the refreshing pool. The hosts are amazing as well! They truly love showing the place. Breakfast was fantastic and they were so gracious to give us seconds on smoothies. If we are lucky enough to come back to Costa Rica, we know where to stay!"

"Services and the staff are exceptional. We ate breakfast and dinner for two days and loved the food! Thank you Yocky! If you want to stay at a place that feels close to nature, this is it. We saw many birds from our glass-walled cabin. An ant highway ran right outside our door!

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 — A Truly Magical Experience at Río Perdido
Río Perdido is one of the most extraordinary resorts we’ve ever visited — a hidden gem that exceeds expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with genuine warmth and hospitality. The maids, servers, concierge team, and everyone on site were unfailingly kind, attentive, and made us feel like we were among friends.
The resort itself is stunning. Set within a private preserve of forests, canyons, and geothermal wonders, every view feels like a postcard. The thermal river is unforgettable — relaxing, healing, and unlike anything you’ll experience elsewhere. We loved the beautiful hiking trails, restorative yoga sessions, and exhilarating zip-lining.
The food was exceptional across all restaurants, with fresh ingredients, great flavours, and flawless service. Every meal felt special.
A true highlight was meeting Gabriel and his father — two of the most gracious, passionate people you’ll ever meet. Their love for the land, the community, and the guest experience shines through in every detail of the resort.
Río Perdido is magical in every category: service, nature, activities, food, and atmosphere. We can’t recommend it highly enough and will absolutely be returning."
"Comfortable cabin in a bit secluded area, in the Costa Rican rainforest. We love peacefulness, quietness and close-to-nature location. Our cabin was clean, spacious, with well functional bathroom and veranda facing wall of lush green rain forest.
Tasty breakfast. The managing person is very nice, speaks no English though."
