The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. "

My booking and payment had been confirmed. I even received an email the next morning to see how our stay was going and another asking us to rate our stay. "The Moat House is such a lovely hotel, great surroundings. We stayed here with our little dog, there is a lovely walk for dogs. He was allowed in the bar area where we had food. All the staff from check in to bar staff were very friendly. The room was very clean, very spacious. Food was really good too. Cannot fault anything, will definitely be back."
