A quiet, relaxing holiday, with a great local host

A great stay at the beautiful, small village, Melissi, along the coastal line. Visiting with 3 kids, looking for a relaxing holiday, this villa was a perfect choice. There are very few shops and restaurants nearby and we didn’t have a car, but the local host, Mr Dimitris, did all he could to make our stay comfortable and rewarding. He took us to a small local trip, that revealed the hidden gems of Melissi, which we would not know otherwise. My kids like playing with dogs, and knowing that, he brought us a baby dog to the villa, that my kids really loved. We would love to go back, when we visit Greece again.

Melissi villa stay

We were promptly met Dimitri, the caretaker of the apartment, Who oriented us with the features and procedures for our stay. he greeted us warmly and offered his services for anything that would help us and make our stay more comfortable. Dimitri Took care above and beyond our expectations by recommending tavernas and markets we may need. He personalized our visit with us about Greek politics and current situation. He impressed this with his warm and caring attitude and his eager offer help us enjoy is city. At our departure date, he came promptly to check us out and recommend a local coffee house with the best pastries. We departed as friends; We know where we will stay on our next visit. Dimitri is a valuable asset to this property!

Pristine apartments. Newly constructed, clearly built with care and an eye for detail. Large enough to comfortable fit a family of 5 with room to spare. Interior was immaculate and comfortable. Great roof-top view of the Mediterranean. Christos our host was incredibly accommodating, responsive and welcoming and was a great resource for local food and beach tips. Location is near some fantastic beaches and is within a hour drive of many famous tourist sites (Corinth Canal, Acrocorinth, Ancient Mycenae, etc).
