"I guess the hotel can’t determine what your neighbor will be like , but we had the most obnoxiously loud neighbor the whole stay. The walls seem to be paper thin, so it was like her screeching voice and blaring tv was in our room. We paid for a more expensive room in the Captain’s Quarters, so this was really disappointing for us. The staff was helpful once we requested help in this matter. The pool staff was outstanding and all the staff was friendly and helpful throughout the stay."
"The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly but the rooms were not good. The stay was so bad, we had to cut our trip short because we were just too exhausted. The Ac did not work properly and it was very loud. The room would be freezing cold but as soon as we went to sleep the ac would switch to heat! We would awaken to the room temp being 85! It was miserable! The sink was broken and would not drain and our card keys would not work at the pool and the TV remote was broken. The solution for the card key was to go to the front desk and they would go let us in the pool! When we left and explained why we were leaving the front desk person said they were sorry about the AC and they had called a professional to come out. Well they never told us the Ac in the rooms was broken. They did refund some of our money but we should NOT have been charged for any of the stay! It was miserable! We had no sleep! We were so tired we had to nap in the car! The property common areas have been up dated but the rooms were not good. We had stayed at a crown plaza in the past some years back and the reviews for this property were good but obviously not legit. We will stick with Mariott. Rhode Island was beautiful and the people were very nice and the hotel food was decent. The Troll trail was epic! The hotel stay was the only negative of the entire trip."
"Enjoyed the stay with two exceptions. First is the self check in kiosk. I had a problem so I hit help request. After ten minutes I gave up and went to the desk. The second was I couldn’t adjust the room A/C unit in the room. It said it was set for 65* but both nights both my wife and I woke up in the middle of the night sweating. But overall it was a good stay."
"The property is beautiful. Right on the beach. Me and my daughter wanted a nice relaxing girls getaway and that’s what we got. A walkout to the beach. The pool is heated so if the ocean is too cold to swim can enjoy the pool. Enjoyed the restaurant with the view of the ocean. No complaints. Had a perfect time."
"Obtaining wifi was very difficult and our thermostat did not work well at all. Both of these things required staff assistance. Staff were friendly, room was just fine - love the Zero shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and soap. Breakfast was good. Nice variety
Coffee was excellent."
