seems to be slipping
I’ve stayed here a few times. It’s slipped a bit. Got a hard sell for an upgrade when I checked in tired and jetlagged. Eventually took the upgrade and still charged me for the ‘free extras’ such as laundry. Upgrade room looked worse than the normal rooms I previously had. Breakfast was good no orange juice and jams were like watery fluid. Not big things but shows lack of quality control

Friendly and comfortable stay
A good solid hotel with friendly staff that are always engaging and try there utmost. Tried many other hotels in Wuhan and to date this tops all of them.

The service here is impeccable. "Star" at the front desk was so helpful negotiating with a taxi driver and helping me exchange USD for RMB. A very high class hotel with the best staff. I would gladly stay here again!

Staff and decor was excellent. Only thing was the first room had a strong smell of cigarettes even though it was a non smoking room.. Staff was quick to switch rooms for me.. Would definitely stay again.

Hyatt stay amazing
Hyatt has wonderful facilities with grand breakfast selections, hospitable staff and nearby shopping places. Metro is right outside the hotel for easy commute.

The hotel is very modern and the personnel is VERY friendly and helpful. The rooms are VERY clean and very well maintained. The hotel is located near a subway station, making almost any point in the city accessible. Few points causing discomfort: 1. The handwashing sinks at the bathroom are very shallow and completely flat. Washing hands causes spatter in all directions. 2. Water never drains out from the flat sinks and, soon, the sinks get really ugly to touch. The personal thoroughly removes this residue every day but a concave sink would be better. 3. The closet for clothing is located INSIDE the bathroom. Standing water in the sink makes the clothing damp. In rainy days it is felt sufficiently to cause discomfort. 4. The biggest problem is that the internet in the hotel is as good as none. Their provider blocks the sites randomly including most commercial sites and even educational institutions outside China, including their email servers. This problem may be specific to foreigners but the problem is serious for any business traveler.

Awful restaurant service
The restaurant staff were among the worst customer service I've experienced. The manager kept PUSHING me to buy their club membership for diner vouchers and discounts. They had a seafood buffet night, so I asked for a 'finger bowl', they replied "We don't have this?" I asked, 'Could you not put some lemon in a bowl of water...?" We don't do this.. she replied! Throughout the evening, it wasn't busy... finished plates weren't being collected. The hotel stay was pleasant... but ruined by the dinner.

Overall, the stay was good. Great breakfast, the room was slightly "worn". Water in the shower drained kind of too slow, I thought I would fold the room. The major inconvenience for me was during the check-in: The front desk attendant could not locate my reservation right away and took them a long time to reach Hotels.com to confirm the reservation and the fact that I completely paid for it. Overall, the check in took more than one hour. Not sure which side - Hyatt or Hotels.com - was at fault.

Best surprise hotel of the year!
Wuhan is undergoing a massive infrastructure build out, so I was expecting a fairly nice hotel but stuck in a mess of dust and traffic. While the outside on the street is just so, the inside of this Hyatt is immaculate!! The staff is super nice, super down to earth, and with fluent enough English to get by. I would rank it ahead of many other Hyatt properties in Asia, and that's not easy to do :-)

the location is a bit far from the downtown area and although there is a lot of construction around the hotel itself is very quiet and comfortable. good place to sleep nice bed with simple modern decoration with a Chinese touch. the lighting is a bit dark. the service was not that good i stayed two nights and asked for late checkout but both days they called and said i had to leave early then i would go downstairs and they said it was fine. the first night i paid extra to upgrade to an executive room with breakfast and in the room its written the breakfast is available until 11 but i went at 9:50 and it was all shut down. lucky the executive lounge staff on the 27th floor were very nice and found me some food. The executive lounge was excellent but the reception seems more friendly with foreigners than with Chinese guest, i got a much nicer and friendlier response than my Chinese wife and they were a a little unorganized.

Very nice hotel in Shanghai
This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever seen in China. It was very affordable, and the amenities were very nice. My only complaint is that the sheets kind of smelled like dirty water, but it wasn't terrible. I would just recommend that they start using more detergent or fabric freshener to cover up the dirty Shanghai water that they have to use to wash the linens. I would definitely recommend staying here. It was a very nice and comfortable hotel.

A paradise in Wuhan Optics Valley
This hotel is one of the finest I've stayed at in China, and even the world. Much better than all the others I've stayed at in Wuhan. Hotel is very well constructed, and the staff are super helpful. Breakfast is wonderful. The area is currently under construction, so the outside is not pretty - but zero of that noise comes inside - so no matter.

You have to stay here!
This is by far my favorite hotel in China (I have stayed at near 100 hotels throughout China). If you are in Wuhan, you have to give Puli a try. It is an oasis in the middle of a busy and often smoggy city. Superb Chinese restaurant and its Italian restaurant is sure to impress (a bit pricy). Breakfast buffet is a must. only problem is the major construction out front... but again, constructions are everywhere in Wuhan anyway.

Unbelievably good, a happy surprise.
I can't quite believe it myself, but this is the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Never expected it from a hotel in Wuhan, China. I can't pick out the service, facilities/rooms or food as the high point. They were all unbelievable. The only demerit is that the location doesn't seem particularly great.

My first room the King was well above standard but in the delux they were forgetting to put bathing soap and cleaning the bathtub. My stay l won't forget it in my life and l am even planning to come back with my family for holiday. The front office the restaurants, the spar were full of people willing to make us happy. It's one in a million. The Chinese l salute you.

Style and Substance
I was in and around China for a 2 week stay and this must be one of the best new hotels I have stayed on this trip. Even though I checked in quite late, they were still able to do clean my suit within 2 hours for my meeting the next day. The lobby is a great stylish place to hang out. The rooms are very comfortable and again not only stylish, but extremely well thought out. All room facilities were fitted out with the latest technology and being on the higher floors I got a great view go Wuhan. The Chinese restaurant is again one of the best I've tasted, although the restaurant on the ground floor for lunch was a little disappointing. Gym was very impressive. All in all although i only stayed one night, it was one of the best stays ever. Side note: Staff were amazing and super helpful, from check in to check out.

This hotel was highly recommended by other reviews and it was no disappointment. It is pretty new and is very interesting in design and layout. The staff are exceptionally well trained and polite and they are helpful in every way. The room I stayed in was large and very comfortable,. The minibar was complimentary and internet had a good signal. Everything you could need was in the room including desk equipment etc. The one exception was the lack of an iron, but that was delivered in a flash by staff when requested. Breakfast was great. The only down was the Italian restaurant where staff seemed a little gruff. I couldn't find anything interesting within walking distance..

Best hotel in Wuhan
Unless there is a Ritz Carlton around the corner that I didn't notice (and I'm fairly certain there isn't), this must be the best hotel in Wuhan. Beautifully and impressively decorated, with some very nice touches; all facilities (including breakfast) were either very good or excellent; and the staff were literally falling over themselves to be helpful. It's a fairly sizable hotel, but the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff make it feel much more personal. If it fits your budget requirements, this is where you should stay in Wuhan.

Quiet, comfortable and have maximum privacy.
I stayed at the 17th floor but I could not go up to the 18th floor by the lift to find by husband, who had gone to the 18th floor by mistake, even I used the key card. He also could not go down for one floor using the lift. Another thing was that we had spent more than 15 mins to check out, even there was nothing to settle.
