Older hotel and rooms are two flights up. Besides that, everything else was good. Rooms are smaller and old, but comfortable and clean. Good restaurant down stairs and good pay to order breakfast.

Dinner was delicious and high quality. Attentive and friendly staff. Quality real ale in the bar. Mix of locals and visitors. Spacious accommodations. Character and lovely atmosphere. Very dog friendly and interesting short walk nearby highlighting prehistoric and dark ages history.
