"This characterful and unique property was just as pictured in an ideal setting and very convenient for St Andrews which is approx 4 miles away. Each room is completely self contained - so no access to, or need for, communal rooms. Breakfast is provided in your own kitchen and contains a wide variety of options. "The place was really nice in every way — relaxed and friendly staff, clean property, and reasonable prices. My only comment is that it wasn’t easy to find the location or the reception. We had to call for directions, as the postcode alone wasn’t sufficient. Once we parked the car, we had to phone again to locate the reception, but a friendly staff member came to our rescue. Now that we know where it is, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again."

"Had a lot more hope for this property. First they were not happy we booked though Expedia and not through them. Second the first room was damaged with a broken bed frame. Went directly to front desk to fix as soon as got to the room. Took a while to fix that with no apology. Got a new room. Some staff friendly and some not. First thing that strikes you is the stains on the carpet and dirty hallways that need cleaning. Room didn't have enough towels for 2 people. They did give us one extra...
