"It was a beautiful hotel! And breakfast was great!"

"The resort is lovely and has a very tropical lush feel we were stay vacationing 30 minutes from home and it really felt like we’d flown to Hawaii or somewhere in the South Pacific. The accommodation was great for a family of four, with a nice bungalow, large bedroom space and cute bathroom and we had a view out onto the bay. During our stay one of the restaurants was closed, and so we ended up having the same menu on both nights. The hotel did tell us ahead of time about the restaurant being closed for maintenance. The main pool was decent with waiter service and reasonable availability of beds, although it was busy because it was during kids school break spring break. One criticism would be the gym, my husband felt all the equipment was tired old or broken but that wasn’t a big deal because we only went to the gym once. Over we would rate it a 9 out of 10!!"

"The location is on The pacific hwy which is a catch-22. Lots of traffic noise- but great location near old town and the trolley. Our room was surprisingly quiet for how close to the road it was. The front staff was not too informed about the bus and trolley system just steps away from their hotel. Over all we we will stay there again if in San Diego!"

"Room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was renovated and honestly had some of the best showers in a really affordable hotel. The place looks grungy from the outside, bed wasn’t very comfortable and had issues with the AC and tv but overall it was a good stay for the price. Bonus points for free parking too"
