"Found it very strange only one towel left in bathroom for two adults on a three night stay (extra towels provided when asked) Rooms are very small (expected at an easy hotel) but really not a fan as someone who values privacy of bathrooms with glass doors and no locks. If someone needs to go during the night and turns the light on in they disturbs other guests sleep. The air conditioning was a blessing in the heat and the fact that it was set to turn on and off automatically was great in the heat wave"

"The hotel was lovely and our room was excellent. We can't fault any of the staff as they were friendly and helpful. The only thing we had an issue with was the catering for the evening meals. On the 2 nights we ate in the restaurant there were several meals and additional dishes that weren't available on both nights. There was only one waitress on both nights and the restaurant was busy and she was rushed off her feet. She coped remarkably well with so many tables to deal with. Apart from that we had a lovely time."

"Checking prompt and efficient. The room, although small was ok for our stay. Loved the White Company products in the bathroom. Tea/coffee in the room was a bonus. Iron and ironing board useful too. Breakfast was great from cereal, yoghurts, fruit juices, sausage, bacon, beans, mushrooms, fried, poached & scrambled eggs and omelettes to order, Danish pasties and coffee station highly recommend. The car park was also free for hotel guests."

"The staff were fantastic both at the hotel and the diner. The room was great apart from technical issues with our television which staff tried to fix. But it kept breaking again , in the end we gave up as out of the 3 day stay here it worked for about 2 hrs on and off. We gave up and used a phone to watch the world cup! Not quite the same but staff did give us a complimentary breakfast on departure as an apology. Parking facilities great, tea and coffee in reception. The toiletries in the room were gorgeous and the staff overall were fabulous and welcoming. We would probably stay again if we were to head this way."

The staff were outstanding- friendly, professional, and always available whenever I needed assistance. Their attentive service really made a difference. The breakfast was delightful. I would highly recommend this The Lygon Arms and would happily stay here again!"

"Really impressed with this hotel Shower room well maintained and cleaned spotlessly . Staff so helpful. Breakfast was all you could as for. One thing..Our booking was for 2 rooms which we booked at the same time. When we got to the hotel one room was on the ground floor the other 2nd floor. Both rooms had an Interconnecting door to the room next to it.it would have been nice if they had put us together on the same floor.made no sence to split us up but that honestly is the only thing"
