" We were met that evening by a sweet older lady who welcomed us kindly and was able to get us checked in (having had a reservation) in no time at all. A comfy smaller room. We had reserved a single queen size bed, but it was a full size, but we slept well and close together like we did when we were first married 40 years ago LOL The next morning breakfast was fantastic with lots of options. We got to sleep till about 9:00 because checkout isn't until noon (we really liked that) As we stepped out into the brilliant sunlight after breakfast I noted that the landscaping around the building seemed a bit unkempt, but it's early spring yet in northern Iowa so they may just not have been able to get to it yet. The buy behind the desk in the morning was cordial and friendly also. We will definitely be back there if ever we need a motel again in the area!
