"The breakfast was incredible! We also had incredible servers. Our day started with a very friendly greeting. The attention to detail was excellent. Everything on the menu was beyond expectations! We will miss the staff in the Oak Room! Will definitely be back in the future!"

"This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The rooms have no functioning bathroom vent fans at all. After a rushed shower, the room quickly filled with thick, musty steam, which saturated the rest of the suite. On top of that, the wall units had horrifically dirty filters, which had clearly never been cleaned. The air felt stale & unclean to the point that it was genuinely difficult to breathe. The front desk interaction was completely unprofessional. Instead of calmly resolving things when inquiring about bathroom ventilation, it escalated to the point of threats towards me. At one point I filmed the manager yelling at the staff member over the phone to “shut up!”, “be quiet!” & “stop talking now, you’re escalating it!” while the situation was unfolding, which says a lot about how things were being handled internally. I was then given a fan by the manager as a “solution.” Additionally, there were issues at check-in with deposit requirements that were not clearly disclosed during booking. That delayed me getting into my room until very late & added a lot of unnecessary stress. What makes this worse is that after everything, including documentation & follow-up, management has refused to take any accountability & is relying only on their own internal reports. This wasn’t just a minor inconvenience. It was a combination of poor room conditions, unclean air & completely mishandled customer service."

"The hotel is beautiful and so convenient to downtown Napa. The spa was amazing. Did not love the breakfast/ way too much butter on the food. Maybe some people would love that/ but it was not for me. The rooftop bar was fun and the food and drinks were great. The bathtub in the room was a huge bonus. Would absolutely stay again. Also- the outdoor fireplace in the room ( plus the cozy blanket) were perfect. Overall a 9/10!"

"We've been staying here for probably 30 years, and it's just not the same experience, even though I rate it highly. Here's what NOT to expect: Wifi on the 3rd or 4th floor that will stay connected; wine glasses and a wine bottle opener (even though you're in the wine country)-the front desk doesn't even have a bottle opener to borrow, and you have to go to the attached restaurant to borrow wine glasses, to be returned; an ice machine-you have to go to the front desk and ask for a zip-lock bag of ice; finally, an updated bed that doesn't have body furrows, along with only foam pillows that are massive and won't compress down. I've been talking to the G.M. about the wifi for years now, and it just never gets better. Great character and history. Quiet except if you're on Wilson; traffic is noisy with the window cracked. Great dining all around the hotel, and Aroma Coffee right across the street, so Railroad Square is worth it...especially with the light rail train that stops right there."
