"We stayed at The Hideaway for 3 nights in August. Unfortunately the weather was very changeable so we couldn’t enjoy the outside surroundings very much as took advantage of the dry parts to explore. The room was quite small but still ok for us. The breakfast options are wonderful! Nothing was ever too much trouble if you wanted to exchange certain breakfast items and we were honestly so full we didn’t eat until the evenings. "Lovely guesthouse with private parking situated just 5 minutes from Bowness centre and lake ferry point etc. Spotlessly clean with very comfortable super king bed (superior room). Nicely furnished. Added bonus was a good sized fridge and large fan which we needed as there was a heatwave. Breakfast was delicious. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and allowed us to park up prior to check-in in as we arrived a little early. Will definitely be returning!! "

"Host is kind, helpful & friendly. House was immaculately clean with beautiful gardens. The decor is a little dated, the bed was very soft and the bedding too heavy and warm for the time of year. Breakfast offer is cereal, fruit, yoghurt & toast, tea/coffee. "

"We had an amazing break, The entire place was spotless, the bedroom and dining room was pristine, It’s clear that Hilton takes immense pride in maintaining a high standard. "We had a great stay. Very clean and close to everything (as long as you don't mind a hill) excellent breakfast and my wife is Gluten free but this wasn't a problem. We where very welcomed and nothing was a problem. I would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you for everything... "
