The room was very clean, super quiet. Only complaint is the pool, the chlorine in the pool was over the top, so strong we could barely stay for 30 minutes. My eyes were burning and my daughter was coughing so hard making herself sick. None of the windows would open to allow fresh air, also the pool towels were never restocked and there was only 3 towels. The water was also nasty you could see stuff floating in the water and globs of hair. The hot tub was so hot you couldn’t even get in not to mention the filthy ring around the hot tub from not being cleaned.

Dear ArielThank you for your recent stay .Unfortunately we have to have high chlorine for few minutes to clean water up and you were there at that time. Our Hot tub is computer controlled to be between 101 and 105 degrees sorry for the issue

The Inn is a perfect place to stay when visiting my UConn student. The rates are reasonable, and the renovations are excellent. The ONLY complaint is the *very* strong air freshener smell in the lobby and hallways. Thankfully, the rooms are scent free.

Check in was easy. The hotel has been redone and looks very nice. The indoor pool was great. The carpet in the hallways was new and clean but had a very strong scent. Hopefully that will wear off soon. It would be nice to add some hooks in the newly redone bathroom. There was nowhere to hang a robe, etc. Overall, it was a good stay—bed was comfy, room was clean, etc. I recommend staying there.

This hotel was good, not great. The staff was probably the highlight of the stay. Everyone was very friendly. The room was clean with comfortable beds. But that’s about it. The tv in our room was basically just a decorative wall hanging. We couldn’t watch tv in the room because it wasn’t connected to wifi or cable. We called the front desk about it several times and were assured the problem would be fixed and that they’d call us back to confirm our tv was working. Neither of those things happened even though I spoke to someone about it 3-4 times. “Adequate” is the best word to describe this hotel. It’s good for a night or two but I wouldn’t recommend it for any lengthy stays or anyone looking for a hotel with a lot of amenities that go beyond the very basic.

This property was dirty. There were ants all over our room. When I went to the front desk to complain and potentially switch rooms the front desk person was not there, I later saw her outside smoking. So we just left and did not stay there.

There were few things that I didn’t like about my stay, is how wobbly the bed frames were, also there were ants crowding around the bathroom floor I actually didn’t look closely but I’m assuming they were ants. And the last thing that the breakfast area wasn’t prepared with basic things to make coffee, like regular sugar or milk . Just sweeteners. Other than that the stay was ok.

This property is not ADA accessible at all! 15 excruciating steps to the second floor because there was no elevator. Steps down to the bathroom in the lobby. Staff was not helpful. Breakfast is stale muffins and a tiny bit of fruit. Area outside is dirty with litter.

The room setup was amazing, clean, spacious, and nice fixtures. However, everything else was ridiculously unexplainable. There was so much chlorine in the pool we couldn’t last long enough to get in without coughing and eyes watering. Two other families were sitting outside pool area complaining. Went to front desk they said they knew it was bad but we couldn’t open windows. Next morning it was way better but still really unhealthy. It advertised breakfast. They had a nice long 20 foot bar with really nice sitting area but nothing was out on it. There was a small refrigerator with yogurt and milk but it was locked. On a small side table there with 5 extremely cheap wrapped muffins with 10 mandarin oranges. No hotel staff was at front desk for over 30 minutes. When they came I asked if they had anything else and if the yogurt could be unlocked, he just nodded and never came back. Waited 30 more minutes and he never came back. Hotel it’s self was nice but staff and amenities leave much to be desired.

Presently surprised with the stay given some of the reviews. Only feedback is the branding of hotel. It’s really not on the Storrs campus. It’s in Willimantic which several miles from UConn.
