Staff was courteous, but not all front desk staff were friendly. We checked in late and one bed was broken and fell when my husband got on it. We told the front desk, and they said maintenance would fix it the next morning while we were out. We returned late again and nothing had been fixed. Front desk said they couldn’t take anything off our bill because we had paid through a third party. Since we were checking out the next morning, they would give us a gift certificate for the James restaurant rather than switch our room. The next morning, the front desk person had no idea about any of this, but said they would add the gift certificate to our account for our next stay. A broken bed should not have to be tolerated on a 2-night stay.
