Finished in 1938, a surprisingly expensive endeavor in the midst of the Great Depression, this is the manor house of R.A. Stranahan co-founder of Champion Spark Plug. In 1978, the manor house and surrounding estate was saved from being divided up and developed into 1000 new homes and condominiums by a $4 million purchase by the Toledo MetroParks.

The only thing missing to complete this scene of a colony of mushrooms on a decaying tree stump is a tiny fairy door.
