When I was a child I went to Wildwood every summer. We never stayed at the Gondelier but it always looked amazing. Fast forward 30 years and the property is still amazing. The women who checked us in was phenomenal. She was able to get our room ready by 9:00am so my exhausted wife could nap from our long drive into Wildwood. The maid service was great too. I rarely tip maids but Maricruz was so good I felt she deserved a big tip. The walk to the boardwalk is 5 minutes and the beach is directly behind the hotel. The most amazing part was our room. The majority of rooms are double beds in Wildwood and being a 270 lb man I need a queen bed. The Gondelier had 2 queens in the deluxe room which fit the 3 of us adults perfectly. The kitchen was great too with everything you need to cook (if you don’t eat out) including real silverware! Excellent nostalgia trip and the Gondelier will forever be a part of that for me.

Rooms are clean ,bathroom clean. Great stay . Pool was great. There only won thing they don’t explain on here that after the 2nd night your will have to change rooms . But was not a big deal to me. Will stay agian.

We had a very nice stay! Location is great, staff is friendly, and room was clean. Some little notes for fellow travelers.. bring your own shampoo/lotions, as these are not given out anymore. You have to pay for ice, pack hangers because there wasn’t enough drawer space for 3 people, and get to pool early. Maids are so sweet and the lady checking us in and out couldn’t have been nicer!

Great motel, just needs some more upkeep, especially the lounge chairs on deck. The straps are falling apart which is dangerous and can cause back problems when trying to stand up. They also removed some tables which made it more crowded on the deck since everyone has to pile on top of one another. Our refrigerator wasn’t keeping things as cold as we would’ve liked. ALTHOUGH, the staff were very respectful and responsive and did everything they could with minimal staff available. I’d still recommend this motel and plan on making a trip back next summer!

The room was clean and large. The decor and appliances were very out dated, 70's vibe. Staff was nice. Right on the beach and near the boardwalk, so everything was walking distance. Parking spaces are small and not that many available at night. But the staff will accommodate by giving a pass to park on the street without paying. There are NO FULL BODY MIRRORS. ONLY A SMALL BATHROOM MIRROR. That caused some issues when 4 women have to get ready at the same time.

Things I like a lot: It's clean. The towels are white and fluffy, and the bedsheets are white and crisp. That matters a lot for my family's stay. Big thumbs up for that. Things I do not like: 1. There is no shampoo in the room. Only soap bars are available. You need to spend $6 to purchase a very small bottle of shampoo. 2. The vent in the bathroom is loud, reminding me of the typical airport noise. We couldn't stand it and had to turn it off immediately. 3. The shower head is old and spotty, and not handhold. It makes showering and washing young children's hair a pain. 4. Individual parking space is VERY tight! We drive a Pilot and there were less than 3 inches on both sides from the line markers. It was very difficult for an a normal weight adult to squeeze out of the car from either side when there are cars parked on both sides. I understand space is tight and they wanted to park as many cars as possible, but what they have right now is way too narrow. 2.

Great location and that's the only positive
The location was great, just steps to the beach and close to the Boardwalk. The room needed an update, the bathroom was especially old and resembled the 1960's. There were no housekeeping services due to Covid, which was fully understandable, staff was helpful with items needed, but I wasn't happy with the overall cleanliness of the room. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, but the pillows were good. There was no grid strainer in the bathroom sink and the toilet ran with every flush. I wasn't impressed. If not for the location I wouldn't have even considered staying.

This place was clean, staff is very friendly. I bought a wine and needed a wine opener and the manager lent me one. The pool gets really crowded with the same people but that’s no ones fault. The beach I right across the boardwalk. I hope to visit again next year.

The location is great. Their WIFI service in the 3rd floor was too weak to be of any use. The mgr said they would report to his tech guy. Also, the pool was not as clean, lots of human hair.

The staff was lovely and very helpful. The hotel needs an overall. The molding was coming off of my door and overall things seem old and out of date. I also did not get an ocean view as I reserved but I understand that when you don't book direct, this isn't a guarantee.

nous avons réservé cet hotel la chambre avec deux lit double se trouve dans le coin non pas en face de la piscine comme indiqué fausse présentation la chambre un climatisseur au moin 10 000 BTU au dessus de la tète de lit au mur dison on a toujours peur que le climatisseur tombe arrivé a l'hotel j'avais ma réservation j'avais payé ma premiere nuit sur carte de crédit et le reste je paiyais cash sur ma réservation il me restais 640$ US a payé l'hotel ma dit ce n'est pas le bon montant je devais débourssé 40$ US de plus je n'étais pas content du tout pas capable de faire une plainte sur expedia donc pour moi c'est fini expédia a l'avenir je vais appelé direct les hotel pour résever je pensait que expidia étais mieux que booking je m'appercois que c'est la meme chose pas de service pourrit
