The lady at reception was full of attitude and no sign of welcoming. Upon checking the room, we realized we were not given the room type we paid for, and reported this to reception. To our surprise, she started yelling that we are mistaking and she's given us what we paid for. When we forced her to check our booking, she suddenly realized her mistake, but yet continued arguing with us with no sign of remorse and apology. The hotel was overbooked apparently through several group bookings (to our surprise with such a poor quality!) and they acted as the first come, first be given the better rooms! Then, they ran out of the lake & mountain-view room type that we'd booked.
Reluctantly, decided to stay there since we just finished a long drive. Very basic room, dirty bathroom, cheap toiletries, and weak wifi connection were all parts of this awful stay! The owner needs to hire nice and competent staff with sense of welcoming, and less attitude. YOU are there to provide a service, for which the customers PAY. You are not doing any favor!
