Wild Rose hotels from RM213

"I booked a king room but was given 2 doubles because I was staying with my dog (according to the front desk staff) and I was not told about this policy. If I had wanted or needed 2 double beds that what I would have booked. The room was in a complete state of disrepair with a broken/cracked window, bathroom door would not open or close completely, bathroom sink would not drain, also there were holes in the wall in the bathroom. Carpet in the hallways was disgusting. Indoor pool was closed apparently due to some sort of vandalism. This was a horrible stay and I would have been more comfortable staying the weekend in my car! "

"I was stuck in Steven's Point during a blizzard. The staff at Hampton inn were all incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive. Sone of them were also stuck there through the storm without any complaints. If I had any complaint about the hotel, it would be that the chairs in the pool area are extremely uncomfortable. It was a small inconvenience in an otherwise very enjoyable stay. "

"The cabin was perfect, the supplies provided were well thought out/executed (campfire supplies, s’more kits, coffee, oatmeal, etc.), and the communication throughout was excellent. Five stars."

"There is no hot tub. The front desk worker told me they haven't had it in about 4 years (my stay was March 2026). There was a sign in my bathroom saying to ask the front desk for towels for the pool, so presumably no one has bothered to take those down in 4 years. He claimed they couldn't get the hot tub listing off of the websites. There was no TV. He claimed Spectrum Cable was working on the lines. The shower faucet had a gap between the metal part and the plastic shower wall. There was a small stain on the shower curtain. The toilet had blue water in it, perhaps from someone dumping toilet cleaner in it and leaving it; I flushed it and it was clear. The toilet flush handle had to be held down for a 10-15 seconds for it to flush. The sign out front is dirty and there are no letters on the part of the sign that would usually have a message on it. The way the lighting is, it almost looks closed from the outside. My room's thermostat was set at 60 degrees when I walked in, but it did warm up fine. The placed seemed clean. It's a short walk from a good breakfast restaurant. For $55, I guess I got what I paid for."
