Don’t miss the Prosecco Welcome and the hotel owners talk on the history of the local area and Abbeyglen Castle itself. It was absolutely fascinating, occasionally humorous and brought everything to life. The owner remembered our names from the moment we were introduced. Very rare! I’ve travelled globally for business 2 out of 4 weeks for the past 15 years. I’ve stayed in some fantastic hotels around...

"It was quiet and the setup allows to visit with other travellers. The internet was not the best but it allowed for less screen time."

"It was a great hotel, I love the dark vibe that the hotel has. The bus stop is near by and it’s great to have the parking! The only thing we would’ve loved better is if the rooms had a fridge! Having the vending machine right outside are nice as well!"

"Very nice hotel with an older feel. Large, wonderful breakfast dining area. Quaint bar. Staff was excellent and very friendly. Parking was great, a hotel lot immediately behind the hotel. Location was both a plus and minus. Step out the door and there are many pubs to choose from just steps away. Downside is it was rather noisy on the street until 2am (we were there on a Fri/Sat so maybe different during the week?). "

"Great location, clean facilities. Had to remind front desk about housekeeping twice. Room size and bathroom size are good. Poor water pressure in shower. Room clean but needs some updates - peeling wallpaper, scuffed walls, old fashioned tub/shower combo. "

"Did not get the breakfast but the room was spacious and comfortable. I appreciated the tea kettle and chocolates. The shower pressure was good. Only problem was that housekeeping was cleaning rooms very early and it woke us up early, but the front desk staff said he would let the manager know and compensated us for our trouble, which was terrific customer service. I would recommend this hotel based on quality and proximity of Latin Quarter"

"Would have given 5 stars across the board but there was a scaffold right outside our window, despite requesting an ocean view. It isn't really walkable to much, but the onsite restaurant was very good and the view was amazing. There's also a quaint pub contained within the hotel, with an awesome Irish performer the night we were there."
