"We actually visit family which is 100 miles round trip and we choose to stay at Roots retreat. I’m not much for the long drive everyday we are visiting the area k but these people make it worth it every visit. You can’t ask for a cozy, more comfortable and homy place than Roots Retreat. This place is as clean as I’ve ever seen and we couldn’t ask for anymore than what was given to us. These people go above and beyond to make your stay easy and comfortable and checking in is at your fingertips and no dealing with lines or rude employees. This is the place to stay if ever around Seymour, Tx. "

"Very clean, quiet and ample room. The breakfast was delicious, the potatoes were perfectly cooked. The eggs were real and the selection was amazing of breakfast food. The front desk was friendly. The evening cookies tasted homemade and amazing. The rooms and bathrooms very clean and sanitized. We enjoyed our stay. "
