When I arrived I couldn't get hold of the owner as he wasn't answering his phone and didn't have the curtesy to reply to the several messages I left, both in the form of answer phone and text. I had to contact Hotels.com via the online chat. Eventually one of the owners employees phoned me and said he would come and let me in. Once in the property, things didn't really improve. "My first stay at a Voco hotel and I was very impressed. The location was good, as I was attending an event in the city. Parking in the nearby infirmary carpark was convenient. My room was great, and very clean and tidy. The restaurant offered a varied dinner menu and a variety of breakfast options. The staff were friendly and helpful. All in all, I very much enjoyed my two-night stay."

"Stunning hotel and staff are friendly and really helpful. It was perfect for my stay as I traveled up by coach which is a 15 minute walk and went home by train 7 minutes walk. It’s dead in the centre of Leicester and you can get to everything you need. My only complaint is when you end up at the back end of the hotel there is a bar which stays open until 2am and it can be noisy but other than that it’s a great place to stay and worth every penny."
