"Just like another 2 couples , we couldn’t gain access to the property as we were told it was damaged on arrival to the property . We were left stranded and had to sleep on the street due to not being able To afford accadation elsewhere . We spoke to a man who we think was in charge of the property and he couldn’t have gave less of a damn. Shocking with no communication from Expedia and the property to not have yhe DECENCY to let us know !"

"Fantastic family run hotel. Clean with private car park. Spacious rooms and a pool table. Safe key fob entry. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. A two minute walk from the ferry terminal. We had a very pleasant stay and would book this hotel if traveling to Liverpool again."

"I loved staying at the Soccer Suites. The room suited our purpose. What made it exceptional was Suzanne and Suzi! So friendly and welcoming! They couldn’t do enough for us! The location is awesome! We plan to return!"

"We stayed for two nights in a family room whilst visiting family in Preston. The Claremont was clean, warm, comfortable and great value. We were delayed due to a cancelled ferry and they very were accommodating about a late check-in. "

"My friend and I stayed here this weekend due to attending a festival nearby. The stable rooms are absolutely lovely, so comfortable, beautiful bathroom and lovely bed! We even had horses in stables next to us which was a lovely view to wake up too. The self serve breakfast room was so cute and had everything you could really ask for including fresh fruit, milk, breads and pastries. Will be returning with my partner for sure!"

"Mere Brook is a lovely place to stay. The house and grounds are beautiful and the room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was self service but everything was fresh and well stocked. We travelled in for a football match and very easy to get into Liverpool. Probably better than going in via the M62. Will definitely book again and highly recommended."

"Lovely rural location a few miles from Burscough & Ormskirk On a working arable farm where there is also a campsite Tea room & small shop with a few B&B rooms. Very quiet overnight. Excellent breakfast & helpful staff"
