Communication with Skykes Cottages was very process heavy tho - we received so many useless emails before the booking, then during the trip there was so many different people to talk to for every problem. "Room was clean and spacious. There was a variety of offerings for breakfast, and most of them tasted good. The location was excellent, right in the heart of Canterbury and close to the main attractions like the cathedral. Staff were kind and welcoming."

"A very old building but clean and the staff were very helpful. I had a fall while staying (not in the hotel) and Sandra on reception was very concerned and assisted with ice for my bruises and also fetched my bags down on our departure date. Would go there again but request a slightly bigger room. Ours was a little small for two adults trying to get ready to go out!"

"The property is outstanding. Absolutely outstanding. This has got to be one of my all time fav hotels. And the spa was the cherry on top. I stayed in a manor luxe room - beautiful! The staff are busy, so don’t expect anything quick. Shambolic is a good way to explain the staffing! The lady behind the bar needs customer service training. Her huffing and puffing was not appreciated when ordering drinks. Above all, even with the shambolic faulty tower style staff I loved my stay!"
