"I booked this hotel for a getaway for my son and I specifically because it advertised as having an outdoor pool and the weather was beautiful. Upon arrival, I was incredibly disappointed to find out the pool was closed. To make matters worse, each person at the front desk had a different excuse (the pump was broken, they were waiting on an inspection, it was my fault for not asking if they had an outdoor pool and my favourite "its a seasonal pool and July isnt the season we open the pool"). "This is not a well-maintained property. For example, the staircases were dirty, and the room smelled stale. If you need to sleep for a night, it should be fine, but for a longer stay, please choose something else. While we are not very picky with the food, the free breakfast had very little variety. We will not be choosing or recommending this hotel."

"My husband said thank God I was too sick to attend the event we were going to. He was there by himself. the room stunk and had mosquitoes. When he mentioned it they gave him the air freshener and bug spray to do it himself. ! The key didn't work and the response was they were having issues and had to get new locks. Looked like it was out of the 1930's. He asked for a discount because only he was there plus not great accommodation. Flat no was the response. They knew everything in the area was...

"The motel is older but it is also inexpensive for cottage country. There is a Restaurant in walking distance from the motal that is handy."

"This is an older hotel with new owners who are trying to make it nicer for guests. The rooms by the lake have great access to swimming and nice little deck for enjoying the lake view. You have access to a high quality gym. Owner went out of his way to help me find a place to charge my EV. Good price for this part of Ontario, would recommend."
