This is an amazing place. Our cabin was beautiful and extremely comfortable. Wi-Fi worked well while we were there. This resort is in a remote location with a beautiful view. Parking is on site but not right by the cabin.

The place was clean, however, after a very long 14 hour drive, all we really wanted to do is eat something and get some sleep. We arrived just before 9, so there was no where to eat unless we wanted to travel into whitehorse which was further up the highway. The bed was absolutely horrible, it was as hard as a rock. It was like sleeping on a floor. After a long drive a comfortable bed is a crucial piece of furniture that is strongly recommended. Me and my husband tossed and turned all night and was up by 5:00. Not impressed considering how much we paid.

Thank you for your feedback. All information about our property, such as location, available services and policies (non-smoking, no pets, etc.), are well posted on our website. Everybody's level of comfort is different. We have thousands of friendly guests every year, and we only received positive feedback on our beds and mattresses, as found on several review websites. Sorry if you didn't feel comfortable. Unfortunately, you didn't tell us, and we couldn't offer another Chalet to you.

I don’t know where to start everything was just top notch. My husband and I have been traveling for years and Northern Lights is up there at the top. Toby and Lynn are phenomenal. So pleasant, so friendly, so accommodating!! Our chalet was SPOTLESS!!! Beds were very comfortable!! The have an onset chef that prepared us dinner, bison bolognese, and it was delicious. The meal was amazing. Gourmet!! Breakfast was very good. I can’t say enough good about this place. I first stopped by on our way to Alaska and Toby took the time to show me around. So we stayed on our way out. An amazing choice!!!!

Our stay did not disappoint at all. The resort and chalet were exactly as expected. Lynn and Tobias were wonderful hosts and were helpful throughout our stay. I definitely can recommend to book the slightly higher priced newer chalets with the large glass windows for Aurora viewing. Also worth mentioning is the $65/p.p. 3 course dinner at the resort which was delicious. The drink menu is very reasonably priced and Tobias masters the Aperol Spritz drink. If you are looking for comfort with amazing nature views in a small cosy resort setting, this should be your first choice in the Whitehorse area. We plan to be back in a few months.

Paradise for astronomical observation
The owner couple was very kind and helpful and so were staff members. It was a perfect place to observe northern lights with a well-designed garden. The hotel would be more comfortable if the internet were faster and safer and the hotel restaurant were open.

We felt at home at the Northers Lights. The owners are a pleasure to hang with, very friendly and helpful. We stayed in one of the Aurora Glass Chalet and it not only offred great views but impeccable cleanliness and comfort!

The cabin was spotless. The grounds were well maintained with a cut out walking trail on the edge of the woods. The owners greeted us with warmth. The breakfast was delicious and our waitress was very attentive. We definitely would stay there again.

Perfect Little Cabin
We were just passing through Whitehorse and needed a place to stay for the night. We loved the perfect little cabin we stayed in and had an amazing breakfast before we left. We even saw a fox in the morning! We would love to spend more than 12 hours here next time we get to Whitehorse.

Everything was unique from the staff to the food, the log cabin, roomy cabin with all we needed and of course, the peace and quiet of the location with beautiful natural views out our windows. Do need a flat space to put bathroom toiletries on, that seems to be missing in every place we stayed in over 6 weeks of travel. This was the most relaxing and quiet place we stayed in our travels!

Beautiful place, with a wonderful staff and excellent massage. Wish we could have stayed longer, as the room had an amazing view with floor to ceiling windows. Breakfast was excellent, and Relaxing just being there

Extraordinary!
WOW! I can't say enough good about our stay. Everything was perfect and we were well taken care of. The cabin was spotless, the beds very comfortable and the view was gorgeous! We chose not to have dinner at the lodge but we are confident that judging by the excellent breakfast we had the dinner service would have been extraordinary! We highly recommend you stay and you will not be disappointed!

Friendly, Unique, Homely Cabins
Overall very good. Very nice location away from the city. Very home-like set up with exceptionally comfortable beds, pillows and set up. The cabins are built by the owners themselves. Just be sure to ask about the meals that they cook for you, and access to the sauna. I was checking out and they then expressed they cook lunch and dinner, which would have saved much time. Overall cannot complain. Wolfgang even typed up a welcome letter for when I arrived as it was late in the evening. Very hospitable and unique place.

Can’t say enough about my stay. This would be the second time staying and it gets better everything I stay. Highly recommend! Good German breakfast is nothing but the best. Friendly owners. They are great and greet you at the door. It’s like staying with family. The views are breathtaking and so quiet and serene.

So great
So amazing. We stayed in one of the cabins with the big windows. It was really private and intimate. The cabin was so clean and modern and the view was great. Breakfast in the morning was good and the staff are extremely friendly. Will not be forgetting this place.
