We stayed in the off season to visit Glacier National Park which is a 40 minute drive. It was affordable compared to anything else. There was a full kitchen which was nice because there were no dining options except in Whitefish which was a short 11 minute drive. This would be a skiers paradise in the winter. Hiking and bike trails were abundant.
It was hot at night, one window would open, but not the other and no a/c to get a comfortable nights sleep

We really enjoyed this property. Our condo was very spacious, very clean, thankful for the laundry and the kitchen was well stocked to make cooking easy. This property is perfect if you are along in Whitefish! Whitefish is a really enjoyable town with really nice people. The property is about 50 min from the West Glacier entrance but 2&3 hours from Two Medicine and Many Glacier.

Everything about our trip was amazing, great location.
The neighboring unit renter was smoking in this no smoking facility. We contacted office as my wife suffers breathing issues, we asked to be moved, the only offer was a unit one up..not a solution. We could mplained later again during the day as the office said they would inform the guest to stop, didn’t really work, as again at 645 am he’s smoking again . Since there is not AC in summer for units, the only form of “AC” is opening windows and using provided fans. For us we stayed up in the mountains to get some fresh air. 50%. Of this stay was ruined for us. Rest of facility was ok, not as nice as sister property in keystone we stayed at in May. Hard to believe not options with 10% occupancy the days we were in the facility.
The Rooms and bathrooms were big and very clean and nice view of the mountains.

It was good once we got there
the condo we booked online was not the condo we stayed in. The listing is actually through some subsidiary company tied to Expedia or something. So when you try to contact the property management listed they are not the actual people that have your booking. They moved us to a different condo because they were overbooked, which was fine once everything got sorted out. All in all it was not the smoothest VRBO experience I’ve had but the place they moved us to was nice and comparable to the online listing once we got checked in and everything was sorted out.
The morning eagle condo room 309 was dirty... cigarette butts around. Dirt everywhere. The fireplace did not work. Did laundry and the dryer did not work. The bed was most uncomfortable!
We drove in from the Seattle area at midnight...at 6am the next am road construction crews were outside working. I understand that places need to do repairs, but can we start them at a reasonable hour.
I mentioned something to the check in office and they said well maybe you should have booked directly with us and you would have known.
Great one bedroom condo with everything we needed and space to spread out. Close to Glacier, restaurants and a great Farmer's Market we happened to be there for. Unfortunately the forest fires were causing a lot of smoke, smell and closures but not the fault of Morning Eagle. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back with snow on the ground. Total ski-in ski-out for winter visitors.
Assuming that it was largely due to it being the off season for this resort, there were some areas of the service equation that were lacking - i.e. no maid service and hours of service for front desk were extremely limited. A nice resort though... just probably not the right time of year to stay here...
My unit did not have A/C. Was very hot. Was provided with fans but these were noisy and needed all day and night. Pillows for beds were very hard. The sofa bed was terrible and slept on sofa cushions instead. Also, sofa bed was dusty and needed cleaning. Shook out a cloud of dust
The kitchen was very nice and well equipped. Would like a Kuerig option for coffee.
Bathroom spacious with double sink and laundry. Tub was very deep and loved being able to soak.
Being on the mountain was really nice. Views lovely from the unit's deck. Took advantage of gondola and hiking trails. Wildflowers gorgeous.
Checked ahead to see about room accommodations. When I booked I saw that most of condos did not have A/C. I did take fans but was pleasantly surprised we had A/C and fans in the room. End of season so almost everything had closed but close to town so we were very comfortable and satisfied with our stay. I would stay here again should we travel East again. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Morning Eagle is a nice place to stay. The hotels at Whitefish resort are really individually owned condominiums, so things like houskeeping, etc that you would expect at a normal hotel, are not included with your stay. Most units dont have air conditioning. We were there in August and even during that part of summer if a door/window was cracked in the bedroom, it kept the room comfortable.
There is a small market at the resort to grab necessities, including a small wine and beer selection.
Hotel is nicely decorated. None of the restaurants were open in the village. There were 4 of us couples walking up and down the village trying to find a place to eat. Had to drive 7 miles to town to eat. Typical small items in the condo that were not working properly, but added to the frustration. Probably will stay closer to town next time.
We loved our summer stay! Nice and quiet. Because they are condos, you don't get any service to the room. Loved the washer and dryer and kitchen. No pool was sad for my kiddos who are too young to go in a hot tub.
This was the last decent place available when I was looking for lodging. I think it was overpriced for what it was, but that is the norm this time of year. The location is out of the way for Glacier NP and town, but they have a lot of summer activities you can do there.
There was a very loud neighbor and even though there are quiet hours, I did not know who to call when it was the middle of the night and the music was booming.
The condo was nicely outfitted with plenty of dishes and such. The pull out couch bed was pretty bad.
newer condos on Whitefish Mountain... really set up for winter occupancy. The biggest problem was that there was NO AIR CONDITIONING. When we first entered the condo, it must have been 100 degrees, the sun beating down on it.
If you are visiting, either talk to them about it or expect to be very hot. By the third day it had become cooler/
The condo and the building were great, but the pillows were honestly the worst we have ever experienced. We are flexible, well-traveled, and do not typically complain, but it was like sleeping on a giant sack of potatoes.
The suite we stayed in was lovely, but it turned out to be much further than Glacier National Park where we planned on going every day. We wanted to leave 2 days earlier than planned but were told there was no refund for the unused nights, even when we called the week before. That was disappointing. Left a sour impression when we were unable to speak with the manager, always told he had just left or wouldn't be in till later.
