When the place we chose for the reception afterwards had a sudden catastrophic emergency, the hotel staff graciously allowed us to move everything to their breakfast area. Was it what we planned? "I think this was a homeless shelter. It was very uncomfortable. I did not feel safe. The toilet seat was coming off of the hinges. I had one large refrigerator and one small refrigerator in the room. It was extremely outdated. There was a smoking station/ashtray outside my door where everyone congregated until late into the night arguing and talking very loud. It was just not a good experience.
