"A warm and friendly welcome from the receptionist who also very kindly gave me a free upgrade! However the building is very dated and could do with a refurb. A word of warning that it is very loud outside throughout the night, appreciate that it’s also centrally located so that’s the trade off. Overall good stay for one night"

"No fridge , no safe , no PowerPoint near bed side , no usb ports , felt like a motel disguised as a hotel . Rude staff. Interest to ask for trolley etc . Not allowed to go to carpark via resteraunt . Why walk all the way around with luggage makes no sense . Cardiff generally friendly city this was terrible ! Tv not working in one room as internet not working . No one cares . No one should stay here . "

"Booked at short notice, the staff were very accommodating and the hotel easy to be in with a family. The rooms were lovely. The view from the property is stunning, we will definitely return. The only downside was the lack of gluten free options available from the bar menu. That is something that perhaps we could have mitigated had we not booked at short notice. The breakfast had all gluten free options available and was great. Strongly recommend a stay here."

"Very nice hotel. We booked it to use the hot tub while we were there. We were disappointed to learn that there was a steep charge to enter and you had to make a reservation which gave you an hour. Overall, the hotel was in an excellent location but without parking. The luggage drop off is also tricky. The breakfast buffet was huge. "

"It's on a spectacular road of large Victorian houses & the room I stayed in was in keeping: it was large & high ceilinged. It & its shower room were very very clean. The welcome was helpful & friendly. I hope to stay again in the near future."

"Clean room, although bed in disabled room is not very large for 2 people. Reception and housekeeping staff are lovely. Restaurant is very average. Bland food and poor service. Did not use the pool facilities."
