"Since January, I have stayed here 3 times. We were traveling from Connecticut to points south for our daughters. It is a convenient mid point between CT and South Carolina. The rooms are very clean, beds are very comfortable, property is safe and quiet and the breakfast buffet is worth the cost. The servers were helpful and so very nice. This motel is down the road from a Bucee's, which was helpful so I could bring my in-laws for a first time visit. They were amazed! Would stay here again if the trip called for a one night stop."

"As we drove down the long driveway, it reminded us of a horror movie it was dark very dark. Check in the lady was very nice. We checked into our room, the floor hadnt been swept, no big deal. When i che k in i always check for bugs. No bugs thats great. Well the sheets were dirty one had a snot rocket blown into it so i looked at the head of the bed and the sheets were even worse with grub. The other bed wasn't as bad. The bathroom shower was gross, if there would have been a better option we would have left . Instead we took a chance and stayed. Considering it being right next to the high way it was very quiet. "

"The room was clean and bed was comfortable, though the room did not cool well, even with thermostat set to 60F. The ac unit would just cut off. Breakfast was good, and fitness room has basic necessities. The carpets and walls in common areas could use scrubbing or repaint."

"The room was large compared with rooms in newer hotels. The bed was comfortable. Staff were kind. Other guests looked like regular working class people. The building is run down, looks more like a motel. The shower curtain was too old. On the plus side, parking is just outside the main entrance - easy in and out. Experience matched the price I paid (less than $100 per night.) "

"The hotel is run down to say the least. Uneven floors, outdated bathroom fixtures, shower, sink and toilet. Not ADA compliant at all. Key cards that didn’t work on doors that they should have, amenities that were offered that didn’t pan out, appliances that didn’t work - I would not recommend this place unless you are desperate for a place to get cleaned up quick and have a very short night’s rest."

"We didn’t eat there , but enjoyed coffee and the famous, delicious cookies they gave us! Our room appeared clean however- the lights were so dim , we couldn’t see ! There were 2 bedside lamps, ( very dim) and one dim light in the foyer. Bathroom was a little better , but the lighted makeup mirror was dim and apparently installed by a short person as I had to stoop to use it. We did have a sliding glass door , but the only thing we could see was a hallway , so no light there either. "
