"Our stay was unfortunately disappointing. Upon arrival, the walkway to the apartment was dirty, and there was a dead bird near the front door, which created a very unpleasant first impression. There was also a strong odor on the main level throughout our stay. The apartment itself could use some maintenance. "We had a great stay at Ashville Guest House. A clean and comfortable room, delicious freshly made breakfasts and friendly and helpful hosts who gave great tips on the local area (and, very kindly, a lift into the town centre)."

"Clean comfortable room. The lighting was tricky(I’m not familiar with inserting your key card into a slot in order to activate electricity). An explanation would have been helpful. The front desk staff was not particularly helpful with transportation issues. In addition staff throughout the hotel - front desk, restaurant, bar - were very superior in attitude, appeared bothered by questions, not particularly friendly. Breakfast, restaurant food and service, housekeeping, room conditions were all excellent. Other staff were not friendly or interested. Not the typical Irish welcoming that you expect in Ireland."
