"Check in was at 4pm, our room wasn't clean until 9pm!!! The room was dirty, most lilely due to houskeepimg rushing. There was a line out of the lobby with many other guests upset and unable to check in. This was absolutely unacceptable. Management was little to no help!! Will NEVER stay again "

"The room was overall clean but had a slight odor (like pets) and there was some pet hair under the bed that had not been cleaned up. Staff were great, parking was great, breakfast was great, hot tub was great. Pool coulda been 5 degrees warmer."

"The ocean view rooms have the best views and are the shortest walk to the beach. Very clean but outdated as far as the interiors which isn’t a problem at all for me because cleanliness matters more than drape color. If carpet color triggers you then this might not be a spot for you. The patios are HUGE!! It was so quiet! I’d definitely return. The pool is open until 10PM. Our room had a kitchen which had all the necessities."

"Beautiful oceanfront room."

"The property was gorgeous. Wonderful views from your room. Lots of wildlife. Quiet and cozy. We loved the pool and spa. You could see the river and bay. The seals would come and hunt for food. I loved the soft grassy areas with all the little Daisy's. There were black birds, robins, finches and crows. My kids were happy there. The restaurant next door "The Landing" was quite and inexpensive. I'll be coming back."

"The pictures of this hotel are VERY misleading. In fact many of the photos must have been ai generated. There’s a picture of s cool outside area that if it were real, would’ve been in the middle of the parking lot. The manager told me two of the rooms match the pictures. The rest are old carpets, furniture, lighting and tubs. There were unsightly strains on the lamp shades and bathroom tile and ceiling. The saving grace is that the bed was very comfortable and the linens were bright white....

"The restaurant is top notch and the chef is a classically trained executive chef and prepares lots of creative and exciting dishes. This was my second trip there in less than two months and I would stay there every time I come to the Portland area! What makes the hotel so unique is there Japanese style onsen! It is a large soaking pool 2 feet deep filled with hot water where you just relax. For Americans, it might be a little bit intimidating because you go in there naked! But there are separate...

"We had a wonderful stay. The proximity to the Applebe's was very convenient after a long day of driving. We were disappointed that the hot tub was being serviced on the morning before we checked out. There also weren't any towels at the pool for us to dry off with. Other than that, the stay was wonderful. The staff were extra friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Loved the eggs, waffles, and biscuits the best. "

"Great family friendly place. It’s an older building, but they do a great job of keeping it clean and maintained. Full breakfast, was ok, lots of options though. Great they allow dogs too. Would definitely come back. "

"We thought the breakfast was good - cold and hot items (and well cooked), with a nice selection of juices, coffee, and cocoa. And the elevator made getting luggage to the second story a breeze."
