"The ambience and the setting of the location were amazing. It’s a great place to take your pet. We had our own back patio with its own gate and our dog could run in and out just to feel like he was at home. Silverton has always beautiful, but this location is just amazing. Staff was nice and polite and very helpful. I love being able to take my dog out to the outdoor patio and have breakfast looking at all the flowers all around was totally worth it."

"The ocean view was beautiful, the room clean with all the items we needed. It was nice to have a kitchenette and mini fridge. Access to the beach was good. We will stay again."

"I found the hotel and the rooms were clean and well kept. The parking was well lit and plentiful. The indoor pool was nice. Unfortunately I didn't try the breakfast but it smelled really good. I will definitely be returning to Hotel Salem. Thank you for a nice stay."

"This hotel was so beautiful! Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The beach is literally steps out the back of the hotel. Restaurant was delicious and onsite. Everything was perfect….highly recommend!"

"The room was pretty clean with a nice tv, the bathroom was clean but had a couple hairs in the shower. Everything was adequate, my only complaint for the room was the bathroom, it was tiny with a very small toilet. Somehow I always get a very loud stomping person above me like 9 times out of 10. PSA If you’re staying on upper floors your room is for relaxing not stomping around and being loud."

"Beds and pillows are so comfortable, better than those fancy hotels. Carpet, sofa, and bathroom were dirty."

"Likes - location and partial view of the beach. Also the room was clean, spacious and had 2 bathrooms for our group of 3. Dislikes- most of the furniture looks worn out and like it hasn't been upgraded in ten or more years. The comforter was clean but faded. Also the pillows were stiff."

"Really impressed with our stay here. I had low expectations being that this hotel is older and kind of in the middle of nowhere where. I was suprised all amenities were open and usable and clean. The facility was well maintained, and everything in working order!"
