"It was an enjoyable stay in a great location."

"The free parking (which was excellent) was confusing. In order to obtain a parking dongle, you had to check in but there was no where to park when you were trying to check in. Also, if you didn't return the parking dongle, you were charged $20 but you can't exit the parking garage without the dongle. Therefore, you have to exit the garage and find somewhere to park so you can return the dongle and finish checking out. They need to come up with a better method of enabling parking access."

"The staff was not rude or u helpful. The staff could improve of areas of being more welcoming and inviting to guests as you move throughout the property. The pool area can use a major upgrade as its a basic pool area with not ambiance or aesthetic. The layout of the resort is a little off to me. The spa and pool are should be on the same level. The restaurants and casino are good. The selling point of the resort is the outdoor lake out back with lounge chairs, fires pits and an outdoor bar."

"There was a dirty washcloth hanging from the shower that I found when I pulled the curtain for my first shower. There were also bugs in the bathroom. I called ahead and asked for extra caffeinated coffee in my room to make coffee and when I arrived they gave me 4 packets of DEcaffeinated coffee and told me they didn't have any coffee with caffeine. The ice bucket in my room had a big crack along the bottom, so it leaked all over everything and damaged my phone. This place should NOT be...

"Never been here before had to be in the area for a wedding. this hotel was great and I would say for the money why spend extra at some of the other places for less. breakfast is always good especially when traveling with kids Staff was great friendly and helpful if I am ever in this area again I will stay here hands down"

"Room and general areas clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only complaint was room was a little cramped - one of the beds (two queens) was about 8 inches from the wall, making it difficult to get into that side of the bed."

Continental breakfast was an absolute joke, coffee was so weak you weren’t positive it was even coffee and no choices for something to eat except a sticky doughnut in cellophane. Our room key needed reset several times and the last night it stopped working and they weren’t able to give us access to our room"

"We only needed somewhere to lay our heads for a night and for the price, it was perfectly fine! My back is killing me from the bed but other than that it was clean and the breakfast was actually better than most places we have stayed. Front desk was also friendly!"

"We really liked the Historical Inn. It was clean and basic. Dinner was excellent . Breakfast time was busy and while excellent choices, lots of coffee, they were busy and the sausage and eggs were cold when served. We knew there would be steps to our room and we managed but it would have been so much better if someone had offered to help with our luggage. All that said we enjoyed our stay."
