"The property was very dated... run down fixtures,, bathrooms.. sink and bathtub missing large areas of grout.. they were discolored by age and usage and very unpleasing...We received no maid service for the 3 nights we were there..no fresh linens nor any fresh towels. The parking lot and entrance ramp are dated and full of holes and uneven pavement and in need of repair....Therefore.. a poor rating is being nice..."

"We come up to the Berkshires every year for Tanglewood and always stay here. The rooms are always clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The rooms have either a full kitchen or kitchenette so at the very least you can have coffee when you wake-up. The fact that Vacation Village is on Brodie Mountain it's quiet and restful."

One could not ask for a more gracious host, who always asks how the room is and provides a truly beautiful breakfast with three types of nuts many fresh fruits and berries, coffee, yogurt, muffins, cereal, bagels, bread and English muffins. The room is small, but comfortable and quiet and very clean. Housekeeping comes every day to spruce up the room. I would definitely stay here again."
