"The room was fantastic. It was farther from centrale than originally shown, but was still just a short taxi or bus ride away. Checkin would have been easy (all online) but the website would not let me use my camera which wasted hours for me. If you stay more than 1day BYO TP & soap. Other than that the room was clean, comfortable, and convenient. I have no complaints. "

"Hotel had a central location near Bologna Downtown and Two Towers, lots of shops, restaurants and stores nearby mini marts and grocery stores. Good bathroom and room size...interesting small door to get into room. Hotel is old but in good condition for age. Elevator was a savior but only 1 person and 2 large suit case's per trip or 2 people with luggage. A/C worked well...small bathroom and room but we expected it from the other reviews. "Very centrally located with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Staff was excellent. Room though small was comfortable. Only real complaint was the size of the shower in my room. Otherwise the hotel is great! Would definitely recommend and stay again. "

"On our first visit to Bologna we figured we would stay at the hotel Metropolitan because of its location in the city as it was fairly central to all the interesting areas and gave us a great place to start to explore from. One thing to note is that it is a bit of a walk from the train station, but the walk is nice and is mostly under porticoes which made it much more enjoyable. The hotel itself was very clean and nice and the room was set up very well. I did read from other reviewers about...
