"The room was clean but had wear and tear. The toilet handle had to be held down to fully flush. The walls and ceiling had a lot of dings and dents! We were in room 104 on the ground floor and could hear the people above us.
The breakfast was hot and okay. However, the attendant did not keep it fully stocked. Several items had run out an hour after breakfast had started. I will say there was a variety of breakfast foods.

"The hotel is going through renovations so the lobby area was a little disorganized with building materials around and also in the parking lot. "The nightstands and dresser were a little dated, but everything was VERY clean. The staff was incredibly helpful and the bartender was amazing in both his knowledge of libations and general conversation. Breakfast was good too! We slept soundly in our comfortable beds and I will recommend to family and friends when they come to Topeka."

"Breakfast was less than average and very expensive for counter service. Don't call it granola if all you do is break up a commercial granola bar. Oatmeal was poorly cooked and unexplainably expensive. Shower, on the other hand, was outstanding, but hallway inside room is too narrow to bring the luggage cart in. Also lighting in bathroom and sleep area is very weak and not useful. "

"Our room was great! However, the hot tub water was green with brown ring around tub! The room was clean and nice! But they definitely need to fix this place up! Front doors of hotel left open day and night! Needs a paint job badly and fixing up! The complimentary breakfast was not very good! Limited choices!
