Hence instead of contesting for Sanitation Issues, showcasing Wonders in India. There is a small heaven in the North-East side of India - Dawki a small village on the banks of Umngot River, near Tamabil Point on India-Bangladesh border. The water is so pure that you can clearly see the rocks & fishes from the boat & wonder how the boat is floating, how deep is the water...A treasure waiting to be explored...

Hence took my daughter to small heaven in the North-East side of India - Dawki a small village on the banks of Umngot River, near Tamabil Point on India-Bangladesh border. The water is so pure that you can clearly see the rocks & fishes from the boat & wonder how the boat is floating, how deep is the water... However this natural beauty is slowly getting destroyed with human greediness and laziness. People need to be educated and stopped from polluting these waters with daily chores.

Umngot river.. Sandwiched between India and Bangladesh Dawki is a major center of trade between India and Bangladesh.. The surrounding greenery the cold and transparent water or the river and the beautiful suspension bridge on the river Umngot make Dawki a place worth a visit.
