"ABSOLUTELY THE BEST HOTEL I’ve ever stayed in Europe so far over the last 4 years. First time visiting Galway, the hotel is 13 mins walk from the train station, located literally right in the middle of every single pubs and restaurants you can imagine in centre of Galway, right next to the Spanish arch. The bar across The Quay’s, McDonnold fish and chips, Kings Head Pub, literally all of them in 2-5 mins walking distance it’s fantastic. All the other reviews about noise and live music till 1-2...

"Had a superb three night stay at the Westport Coast hotel in October. The location is simply superb, on the quay, looking out over a few boats and the bay beyond. Worth specifying a room at the front, just for the view. Accommodation is also excellent, in my view faultless. The restaurant is on the top floor with a conservatory on one side giving views towards Croagh Patrick: we caught a stunning sunset and three atmospheric mornings. Food is great. The staff are sometimes a bit too...
