"Friendly staff. Rooms alittle tired but good value."

"Stayed to watch the fireworks from the balcony of our room. Kids loved it and the view was amazing."

"Great location and ideal for city centre and cruise terminal. Will definitely stay again for future cruise trips"

"All good. Great for families"

"The hotel is nice with clean spacious rooms. The furniture and decor need some improving as they are mismatched and the information in the room is very limited. No information about the grounds or the area. Most disappointing spa. It was filthy with clumps of hair in showers and plastic dirt and hairs by the poolside and dirty tea cups. "Although my stay was lovely, the hotel could do with upgrading their rooms. Everything in the room was basic where expectations were for a 4 star luxurious experience."

"Our first time in Southampton will be a memorable one because of the staff at Harbour Hotel Southampton. They were so pleasant & accommodating to their ability which made our stay memorable. The beds are so comfortable we had no problem taking naps! Definitely will stay here again in the near future. Food & cleanliness top notch & the location is breathtaking."

"Good stay, room was nice and the sea view was lovely at sunset. £20 to park for one night and £5 room service delivery charge was a shame. Unsure where it was coming from (sounded nearby) but from 4:30pm - 2:30am there was thumping music. Staff were lovely, bar area is nicely done."

"Loved the stay and food."

"There was mold in the shower…they need to upgrade the mattresses on the pullout bed… the springs were extremely painful"

"For value, this is easily the best hotel in Southampton. Clean and well maintained rooms, great buffet breakfast, swimming pool, and helpful staff."

"The Chilworth Manor is set in parkland adjacent to the Southampton Science park, so is quiet with plenty of space for car parking (though it can be a bit dark walking from car to hotel). Reception were helpful & friendly; my room was very spacious and everything worked, Breakfast was excellent, with a buffet including three types of mini-pastry, fresh fruit as well as cereals and typically English fried foods. But the best of all was the indoor pool - note it's only open to 8pm at weekends,...
