Upon check in I was presented with a list of rules (empty bins, strip beds on departure amongst others) and asked for a €400 deposit for any potential breakages of which couldn’t be processed due to restrictive refund policies. The attitude and lack of help and welcome from staff was the worst I’ve ever experienced. No attempt to understand or put things right. The propertiy was amazing just like the pictures. "Hotel is one of the oldest, if not the oldest and it is in the middle of the city centre. Hotelroom I stayed in was very modern and completely refurbished with a view of the Coolsingel. Staff is very friendly and professional. "
