"We stayed at this hotel for five nights. During our stay, we requested housekeeping on nights 2 and 4; however, on night 4 the service was missed and never completed. After a long day out, we returned late to find our room still dirty. We had to request at least clean towels, since a full cleaning was no longer available at that hour. Overall, the rooms could use an update. The carpets, while not visibly dirty, are quite old and make the space feel worn. The rooms definitely need some TLC. The breakfast included in the rate is exactly the same every single day. For longer stays, this becomes repetitive very quickly. It would be great if they could rotate the options at least every couple of days. The same goes for the wine, cheese, and grapes offered to guests—it’s a nice touch, but also identical each day. On a positive note, the staff is friendly and respectful, and the location is great, with a beautiful ocean view just across the street. Overall, the hotel has good potential, but there are several details that could significantly improve the guest experience."

"We had a wonderful stay. We were so surprised at how well appointed it was! We booked at last minute but we will come back many times!!! We were impressed with all of the amenities! One item of distress was that the on line booking jumped by $80 so we called and woman said that the fee was correct. So we tried another service who offered for less so we booked. When we arrived we were greeted with a friendly owner!!"

"Please have a table on both sides of bed so both guests can plug in phones. The air is right above bed and blows too hard even on low fan setting. Please add small microwave. "

"1) I have loved and enjoyed this place for many years; however, this last trip failed to meet the standards of previous trips, which took time and money away from other parts of my stay. 2) On every previous trip, there has been a phone charger, a dresser, a note pad, tissues, and a desk, but these are no longer available. Can you imagine even a low-budget motel not offering a place for folded clothing? 3) There seemed to be a lot of noise this time that I do not remember from previous trips. It may have something to do with the thinner drapes, though the drapes did block out the light very well"

"We did not get the room we had booked. Had to switch rooms due to a foul smell/possible gas leak. The next room's AC was broken, the faucet wouldn't stop running, and there was mold in the bathroom. "
