Parkhotel Hameln

"Excellent breakfast, and free bottled still & sparkling water available at all times. The names of the rooms are very misleading. We booked a superior twin room. We questioned whether indeed we had been allocated the correct room, and were told that we had.The room was very small and no tea & coffee making facilities. A very basic room. However. it had a good size bathroom with a nice walk in shower. It also had a small balcony with 1 chair. We enquired about the next category up - "Privilege" room for our next stay in Hameln. This is a bigger room & does include tea & coffee and bathrobes. But alot more expensive. If you don't mind a smallish room and don't think "superior" just normal, this hotel is located conveniently in walking distance of the town (through the park). And to reiterate the breakfast is really good and the free supply of drinking water was very much appreciated. Especially as we stayed during a heatwave >38°. NB There isn't any air-conditioning in the hotel. But very few hotels in Hameln have air-conditioning. The breakfast staff were excellent and friendly and the majority of the receptionists were friendly. But one of the younger female receptions was quite surly. We didn't see or use the sauna or swimming pool."

"The hotel is a 20 minute walk from Hameln Hbf, which is convenient for people traveling by pack. The breakfast buffet was excellent and well worth the extra charge. The staff were very professional, friendly, and kind. The basement swimming pool was an absolute relief after a long days in the 40 celcius heat wave that Germany was experiencing. Overall my stay at the Christinenhof was great. Highly recommended, and I would definitely return again!"

"We would have stayed another night if there had been availability but the hotel was fully booked. The owner's were very accommodating when we asked to leave our motorcycle in the car park, after the 11am check out, and they also very kindly agreed for us to leave our gear in the hotel until we came back later on in the day for a later check in at another hotel. This very much appreciated, Thank you once again. The room was big clean and spacious and the buffet breakfast had plenty of choice including tea, coffee, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, breads, cheeses and cold meats."

"Lovely and clean cabin, but not very spacious instead pleanty of space outside. More like camping place as you need to walk to the showers and bathroom. Amazing host very friendly. Plenty of fun for kids and a great botanuc garden with tropical butterflies"
