"This was the worst hotel stay in my entire life. We will always book a historic location over a big chain hotel, but if I could have found a chain hotel with an open room, I would have left. If you want to drink to oblivion at the pub & pass out somewhere close, this is for you. "Visited on Monday 15 June. No staff to check in, just a door bell to security they then let you in to get your key from a key safe inside. No dinner or bar on Monday nights so went to the pub over the road. Double Room petite and bijou but adequate. Left before breakfast so did not speak to any staff during our stay!!!! On our previous visit we did have a very nice breakfast. Recommend it but don’t expect to be pampered, more like an Air B&B at least on a Monday or Tuesday."
